Mtn Dew Amp Game Fuel Brought Out-of-This-World Fun to ComplexCon

No brand at ComplexCon lived up to this year’s theme of the future made physical quite like MTN DEW® AMP® GAME FUEL®. Jam packed with video games from both the past, present and future, their booth was the perfect place to wax nostalgic, rub elbows with influencers, and get free samples of GAME FUEL®. 

The old school arcade featured dozens of classic titles like Pac-Man and NBA Jam, while the back of the booth had several video game stations where attendees got a chance to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare before it was released. That exclusive access not only a draw for crowds of diehard fans, but also celebrity gamelovers like Nick Young, YBN Almighty Jay, YBN Nahmir and On the Sticks host DJ Akademiks.

While that covered the past and present of gaming culture, the future came in to play via a special VR setup that fully immersed attendees in the game—from blasting space aliens and monsters to going through the experience of walking the plank. There was a leaderboard throughout the weekend that kept track of the high scorers, who then got the opportunity to take on Akademiks in special one-on-one matchups.
