VH1 is bringing their hit series Black Ink Crew to the west coast. Black Ink Crew Compton is set to premiere Wednesday, August 14th at 10/9c. While the original series follows the NYC tattoo empire and its host of celebrity clientele, the spin-off will see an addition of some Cali-based body artists, as the crew opens its first shop in Compton. With Danny “KP” Kilpatrick at the helm (who you might know as the boyfriend of Kyla Pratt), the cast of Black Ink Crew Compton will hustle to build a business as successful as its sister shop in Harlem.
