Steve Stoute on 360 Deals, United Masters & NCAA Being Worse Than Music Business | Everyday Struggle

On Wednesday’s (April 3) episode of #EverydayStruggle, DJ Akademiks and Wayno are joined by famed music industry mogul, Steve Stoute. The EDS crew kick off the show updating its viewers with the latest news in Nipsey Hussle’s tragic murder case. The guys speak on the arrest of the suspect, Eric Holder, Lauren London’s heartbreaking Instagram post and Russell Westbrook’s historic performance in honor of the late Crenshaw rapper. Shortly after this, Ak, Wayno and Steve give their take on Lil Uzi Vert’s current label situation, and the leaked songs that were made available by hackers over weekend. Later in the episode, Steve Stoute discusses the benefits of partnering up with United Masters, his come up in the music industry, his new artist NLE Choppa, and why artists should stay away from 360 deals.  Towards the end of the interview, Stoute gives Ak and Wayno an insight on his NCAA petition, and  says the NCAA business is “worse than the record business.”
