Universal Pictures just unleashed the red band trailer for the Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg-produced comedy Good Boys. Starring Brie Larson's Room co-star Jacob Tremblay, the r-rated comedy seems to be going all in with its raunchy humor, despite the three 12-year-old leads.

The newly released trailer opens with the three leads in a meeting with Rogen, who warns them that they're not old enough to watch the trailer for their own movie. "That's fucked up," Brady Noon exclaims. "Oh it is fucked up," Rogen responds. "You can say that, but you can't watch yourself say that. That's fucked up. Welcome to Hollywood."

The rest of the trailer gives us an extended look at what the three boys get up to in the film, as they attempt to learn how to kiss before going to a party. There are sex toys used as barricades and weapons, drugs, and even car crashes. In other words, it's a Seth Rogen comedy but with a much younger cast than usual. Think Superbad but for pre-teens.

Good Boys was the subject of controversy during its production last year when a light-skinned African-American boy was seen in dark brown makeup on set. The child was reportedly a stand-in for Keith L. Williams, but his face was allegedly darkened for the scene. In response to the controversy, Rogen apologized. "I won't give any excuses for why it happened," he said.

"I’ll just say that as soon I was made aware of it, I ensured we put an end to it—and I give my word that on any project my team and I are involved in, we will take every precaution to make sure something similar does not take place again," he continued. "I’m engaging in conversations to make sure I find the best way to do that. It's on me to be proactive. Reacting isn't enough."
