On Tuesday, HBO finally let loose the first full trailer for Season 8 of Game of Thrones. The last six episodes of the show are just around the corner now, and fans are feverishly speculating about how it will wrap up now that it's far outpaced the blueprint of George R.R. Martin's books. Knowing how it all ends, Kit Harington was put to the test by Stephen Colbert, who is as eager as everyone else to see the final season.

Speaking on The Late Show, Kit Harington offered almost no teases for the highly-anticipated season. "I had theories all along, and they were all wrong," he said at the five minute mark of the interview, above, immediately prompting Colbert to ask what those incorrect guesses were. Throughout the interview, Harington stressed that he can't really say anything, but it didn't stop Colbert from asking.

At the 10-minute point, Colbert really started grilling Harington. Asking the camera operators to push in on the Jon Snow actor, the host listed a number of predictions. Asking Harington to react nonverbally throughout, Colbert's guesses for the final episode included "somebody dies," and "in the final scene, we see George R.R. Martin watching the credits roll. He says, 'That's a great idea,' and finally finishes his book."

Near the end of the talk, Colbert offered one final theory that he's pinned all his hopes on. "Jon Snow has a son, and names him Tony. House Stark—Tony Stark, he's Iron Man. It's the ultimate crossover." Harington, struggling to keep a straight face, responded, "You got it."

Game of Thrones Season 8 premieres April 14 on HBO.
