There's no telling whether or not the sequel to IT, the wildly popular reboot of the Stephen King classic, will be any good. But it will definitely be bloody. Jessica Chastain's report from the set of the creatively titled IT: Chapter Two ensures audiences that they are in for a hell of a lot of corn syrup when the movie hits theaters.

"In the movie there's a scene...someone said on set that it's the most blood that's ever been in a horror film in a scene," she said while stopping by The Tonight Show

Chastain added that she took her work home with her, joking with host Jimmy Fallon about the way that stage blood sticks around.

"The next day I was pulling blood out of my eyeballs," she said.

If IT aims to hold the crown for bloodiest scene in horror, it definitely has some stiff competition. We're sure the hallway scene in The Shining would like a word.

The Second Chapter features plenty of holdovers from the first movie, inclding Chastain and director Andy Muschietti. The follow-up will focus on the members of the Losers Club, who managed to make it out of the '80s alive.

IT is part of a string of Stephen King remakes that are in the works. A whole new crop of actors, directors and screenwriters are looking to take on the writer's canon with takes on Pet Sematary and The Long Walk, in spite (or perhaps because) of the fact that his books never seem to make the jump to the screen intact.
