In Vince Gilligan's movie continuation of the Breaking Bad television series, some of the show's veterans will reprise their roles, per World of Reel.
Starring Aaron Paul, the film is reportedly called Greenbrier and—big grain of salt here—is set to feature series stars Bryan Cranston and Jonathan Banks as well as Krysten Ritter, Jesse Plemons, Matt Jones as Badger, and Tess Harper as Jesse's mom, among a few other names (Robert Forster, Kevin Rankin, Charles Baker).

Although Bryan Cranston's leading character Walter White died in the series finale, the film will presumably involve prequel motifs. Despite Walt's reprisal, the movie will focus on Aaron Paul's character Jesse Pinkman, and what events transpired after the show's final scene concluded. According to the Albuquerque Journal the movie “tracks the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom.” The "escaped man" in question has, of course, been identified as Jesse Pinkman.
It's been five years since Breaking Bad left the small screen to the sound of Badfinger's "Baby Blue." After enduring a wildly successful five-season run, the show ends with Walter White clinging to his meth-lab equipment before dying of a gunshot wound.
Despite Walter's fatal ending, Cranston told reporters he would "absolutely" star in the upcoming film should Gilligan ask. “Yes, there appears to be a movie version of Breaking Bad,” he said on The Dan Patrick Show. “It’s a great story, and there’s a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some kind of completion to these storylines that were left open, and this idea, from what I’m told, gets into those...at least a couple of the characters who were not completed, as far as their journey.”
