On the same day as the launch of his new Ty Dolla Sign and Tory Lanez collab, Trey Songz—who previously bagged starring roles in Texas Chainsaw 3D and Baggage Claim—appears in this exclusive clip from the upcoming thriller Blood Brother.

Director John Pogue (U.S. Marshals)'s R-rated cop tale also stars China Anne McClain, Jack Kesy, Hassan Johnson, Tanee McCall, J.D. Williams, Fetty Wap, and more. The film follows Sonny, Songz' character, as he risks it all in an effort to stop an old pal—convinced his friends screwed him over—from carrying out revenge after taking the fall for a years-old crime.

Blood Brother hits select theaters and VOD services Nov. 30.

Speaking with Uproxx way back in 2013 about his acting debut in Texas Chainsaw 3D, Trey Songz detailed his impromptu approach to maintaining on-set fitness. "I didn't get to work out a lot actually when I was down there, but Alex [Daddario] will tell you like any time during the day I would drop down and do like 100 pushups, or 200," he said. "Especially when I had the shirt off scenes, I would do pushups all day long!"

On the music side of things, Trey's new track "Shootin' Shot" follows his "How Dat Sound" release assisted by 2 Chainz and Yo Gotti. Also this year, Trey joined T.I. and Trina on Tokyo Jetz' Bonafide album back in September.
