David Schwimmer wants to clear his name once and for all regarding allegations claiming that he was somehow guilty of stealing a case of beer in Blackpool, England earlier this week. Blackpool Police posted a photo of the wanted thief, who bears a striking resemblance to Ross Geller from Friends, a character played by Schwimmer.

The post was met with comments which referenced episodes involving Ross. "I was going to read the report for this but it was 18 pages... FRONT AND BACK! It rambled on for so long that I fell aslEEP," a Facebook user named Billy Hewitt responded, a take on the episode where Rachel leaves Ross with an eighteen-page letter, front and back, about their relationship. "I hope everyone likes Mexican beer because I’m making FAJITAS," Matt Clarkson replies, a reference to the episode where Ross awkwardly invites Rachel and Joey to a dinner with his girlfriend as he struggles to come to terms with their relationship.

Blackpool Police have already cleared Schwimmer's name, stating, "Thank you to everyone for your speedy responses. We have investigated this matter thoroughly and have confirmed that David Schwimmer was in America on this date. We're so sorry it has to be this way."

Still, Schwimmer wanted to prove his innocence by providing a video showing that he was in New York at the time of the incident.

See, Schwimmer isn't guilty of anything. In Blackpool, that is.
