The practice of ingesting one's placenta just scored a major cosign from Kim Kardashian. In a post on her thriving lifestyle website on Monday, Kim said that she was ultimately convinced to give it a shot following her second pregnancy after speaking with other mothers who experienced diminished postpartum depression when ingesting the placenta. However, Kim says she will not "fry it like a steak and eat it," opting instead for the pill form:

"I heard so many stories when I was pregnant with North of moms who never ate their placenta with their first baby and then had postpartum depression, but then when they took the pills with their second baby, they did not suffer from depression," Kim revealed. "I thought, why not try it? What do I have to lose?" According to Kim, she feels a "surge of energy" whenever she takes a pill. "I totally recommend it for anyone considering it." Of course, the Kardashian fam has discussed the topic of eating placenta before:

Kim Kardashian gave birth to her and Kanye West’s second child together, a boy named Saint West, earlier this month. The couple’s first child, North, recently spurred some very compelling headlines by sending her first tweet, an indecipherable but pretty brilliant "jhjhh'/."
