Today in punk rock AF grandmas, we have the 85-year-old Austrian woman who reportedly sliced up a bunch of euros, $1.1 million worth to be exact, just to mess with her family. The dying grandmother shredded the unholy amount of cash "in an apparent attempt to spite her heirs," according to the AFP.

The grandmother, who even went as far as placing the scraps of destroyed money on her deathbed, also reportedly attempted to destroy "savings account books," though her plan for one last middle finger was quickly sabotaged. "If the heirs can only find shreds of money and if the origin of the money is assured, then of course it can all be replaced," Friedrich Hammerschmidt, the deputy head of Austria’s central bank, tells the Kurier Daily. "If we didn’t pay out the money then we would be punishing the wrong people."

It's the thought, even if the thought is worth (at least) $1.1 million, that counts. Right?

Rest in power, Austrian Grandma.
