Besides always carrying a trademark bow and arrow on AMC’s The Walking Dead, Norman Reedus is often seen kicking up dust on a motorcycle as fan favorite Daryl Dixon. The motorcycle enthusiast both on and off screen is taking his passion to a new traveling show on none other than AMC, tentatively titled Ride With Norman Reedus

Ride with Norman will follow Reedus and a friend—anyone from actors to bikers to artists—traveling to, according to AMC, “bike shops, tattoo parlors, bars, and restaurants frequented by chopper enthusiasts.” Reedus, who said he was “excited,” posted  about the new show on Twitter and Instagram. He said of the series: “I’m incredibly excited and thankful to AMC for giving me the opportunity to share a passion of mine with our fans, and hopefully a whole new audience. I had a lot of fun filming and exploring, and I hope it shows.”

AMC’s decision to team up with Reedus once again for the project was a no-brainer (no pun intended.)  Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC described Reedus as the most passionate person about motorcycles. “He is an avid rider and aficionado who is deeply immersed in motorcycle culture,” Stillerman said. “There is also nobody more fun to hang out with. This show will bring those two elements together for a weekly ride into the incredible world of motorcycles and the people who live and breathe them.”

The six episode motorcycle travel show will premiere next year.
