Love truly is dead this summer. Following the announcement of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's rumor-ridden split and the ambiguous nature of Kourtney Kardashian's split from Scott Disick, reports are now circulating that claim to confirm the divorce of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. According to RadarOnline, a private settlement has been reached with an announcement of some sort pending. The esteemed literary journal's sources (sarcasm on full) claim that the couple have reached a confidential agreement aimed at "protecting their $240 million fortune."
Will and Jada have been married for 17 years, during which time they have raised their children Jaden and Willow — both undeniable stars all their own. The couple met on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air back in 1994, with Jada auditioning for a part which would eventually go to Nia Long. However, the two became close friends — building a relationship that eventually led to their marriage in 1997.
