Seth Meyers Thinks It Would Be "Really Fun" to Have Donald Trump on 'Late Night'

Seth Meyers wants to "work though some stuff" with Donald Trump on his show.

Donald Trump is usually making a fool of himself, but now that the billionaire has announced he's running for president, it's on another level. And while it's unclear how exactly he's going to clean up the mess he's made with Univision, at least one talk show host would like to have him guest star on their show: Seth Meyers

At a movie screening on Thursday night, Meyers told Vulture that he would love to have the Republican hopeful on his show. "I love Trump. Trump would be really fun," said Meyers. "We've had some issues in the past," he added, most likely referring to back-and-forth jokes made at the other's expense over the years. In 2011, Meyers burned Trump a couple of times at the White House Correspondents Dinner, once saying "Donald Trump has been saying that he will run for president as a Republican. Which is surprising, because I just assumed he was running as a joke."

Trump, not one to take these things sitting down, had some comments to make about Meyers too. Last summer, he called Meyers a "total joke"  and "very awkward with almost no talent" on Twitter. Harsh words, but Meyers says he would still welcome the dude on his show.

"We need to work through some stuff and I think doing it on television would be a lot of fun," said Meyers. Attention Donald's PR team, now is your chance—we would watch.
