Summer might "officially" begin with the Solstice, but anyone with a brain knows the season starts whenever Alex Hudgens busts out her jean shorts.
This summer, Complex News is getting out of the studio. And, to prove we're serious, we freed Alex from the confines of Complex's L.A. office and let her spend a day at the beach. In addition to getting a skateboarding lesson, she met a few wacky characters and even got overhead pressed by some behemoth on Muscle Beach. We know it sounds scary, but the outdoors—even with its iffy Internet connection—can be a lot of fun. Check it out.
