Watch the New "Game of Thrones" Trailer from the Apple Event

Apple came out of nowhere to premiere a new Game of Thrones trailer.

Damn, Apple is really finessing the troll. During their last major event, they misfired by teaming up with U2 to bring the band's new album to every iPhone, regardless of whether the user wanted it or not. People were pissed. But today, during Apple's unveiling of a revamped Apple TV and Apple Watch, the company beat everyone by teaming up with HBO Now and releasing a new, exclusive trailer of the upcoming season of Game of Thrones

The trailer is badder than the first one, giving us a better look at Jon Snow and Stannis Baratheon's battle in the North and the highly anticipated meet-up between Daenerys and Tyrion. And true to form, the trailer features a ton of fire, dragons, swordplay and sex.

Apple was able to premiere this trailer with HBO's blessing because the two companies have agreed to launch HBO Now—HBO's new standalone service—exclusively on Apple TV. At today's event, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that the price of Apple TV would be reduced to $69, and that HBO Now will cost $15. The service will be available in April, just in time for Game of Thrones' April 12 premiere date.
