The last thing you need after being at a week-long festival like South by Southwest where you’ve suffered long lines, drunken idiots (it’s only fun when you’re drunk too), and port-a-potties, is to get kicked off a plane when you’re just trying to leave. Especially if you’re getting kicked off because of a shirt

Brooklynite Daniel Podolsky got kicked off of a South West flight when he was trying to travel from Dallas to Chicago. Due to weather conditions his plane made an emergency landing in St.Louis, so when Podolsky tried to get on board again the flight’s crew stopped him over his inappropriate Broad City shirt that read “Broad Fucking City,” which he had gotten for free from Comedy Central at the festival.

Podolsky spoke to a local news outlet about the incident saying,  “It just happened so fast. Within thirty seconds the flight was gone.” He also said that he would’ve covered up the shirt. But a video that Podolsky posted to his Facebook shows how he was given more than “thirty seconds” and plenty of options, such as covering the shirt or taking it off. So we don’t feel too bad for Podolsky.

The incident even caught the attention of Broad City star Ilana Glazer who tweeted:
