The TCA 2015 panels are in full swing, and Fox has announced it's renewing our new favorite showEmpire. It's no surprise—the Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson drama is doing gangbusters as far as ratings—even though it only debuted January 7. Luckily, a network recognized the skills for once and gave it the go-ahead for season two.

Gotham and Brooklyn Nine-Nine were also renewed. Both of the dramas have been averaging around $10 million viewers, while the Andy Samberg comedy was less of sure thing. The next episode of Empire airs Monday, January 21 at 9 p.m.
