New video footage appears to show Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson unlawfully arresting a man in 2013. Wilson shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo. in August.

The video, filmed in October 2013, appears to show Wilson telling 30-year-old Mike Arman that he's going to "lock [his] ass up" if he doesn't stop taking pictures. When Arman corrects him, explaining that he's recording a video and not taking pictures, the officer explains that he doesn't have the right to do so and approaches him. The clip seems to conclude with Wilson, who was reportedly on hand to serve a court summons regarding vehicles on the man's property, grabbing Arman.

According to Gawker, the police report written following the encounter is vastly different from what was captured on film:

An incident report allegedly filed by Wilson differs from the video: he claims he told Arman that a video recording "would be acceptable" but had to arrest him when he ignored instructions to remove the camera from my face. In the report, Wilson also writes that he refused to give Arman his name because Arman was capable of reading my department-issued nameplate attached to my uniform.

A spokesperson for the Ferguson Police Department told the Guardian "I don’t think [the officer in the video is [Wilson]."
