A massive fight broke out on an F-Train in New York City this past weekend after a male passenger wound up and slapped a female passenger after a relatively prolonged verbal argument.

While it’s unclear what started the conflict, the center of contention when the video starts is the man’s Fargo-style trapper hat, which the group of women does not seem to find particularly stylish. They also could have ripped into the man’s 8-Ball leather jacket, which last enjoyed a run in high fashion about 15 years ago and was perhaps best worn by Puddy on Seinfeld.

The slap itself sounds pretty bad, with the man making pretty direct contact and probably causing a lot of pain. You have to give credit to the many people (including the victim) who immediately went after the slapper even though he’s clearly a pretty big dude. You normally don't want to condone subway rumbles, but this is a time where it's probably OK.

The NYPD are investigating the incident, obviously. Honestly, how hard could it be to find the perpetrator? There can’t be that many tall guys in trapper hats and 8-Ball jackets walking around New York City these days.
