Stoners suck at current events. Who knew?
With marijuana getting a lot of press lately after the "F**k it, I quit" incident as well as pro-weed legislation gaining momentum in several states, Jimmy Kimmel Live took to the streets of Los Angeles to chat with those benefiting from the wide availability of weed. Unsurprisingly, this "pot quiz" revealed a startling lack of knowledge about anything other than marijuana or stereotypical stoner activities.
Of course, this is a very small sample size. But Jimmy Kimmel is one of preeminent cultural anthropologists of our time, so it’s perfectly reasonable to take his word as law.
In all fairness to the people appearing in this segment, some of the trivia is not as easy as you would think. Do you know who spoke at the United Nations about climate change last week?
