You should never run out of room on your TiVo again. If you have $5,000, that is. The DVR company is expected to unveil a new box tomorrow called the TiVo Mega that can record 26,000 hours of standard-definition TV and 4,000 hours of HD.
In addition to having a ridiculous 24 terabytes of storage, the TiVo Mega can stream video to phones and tablets. TiVo says the box will release in 2015 and will be marketed towards "high-end TV viewers."
Meanwhile us basic bitch TV viewers will miss out on being able to record 10 years of an MLB team's games, as the TiVo CEO promised.
