If you haven't heard the story of Dock Ellis, the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher who through a no-hitter while on LSD, the trailer for No No: A Dockumentary will blow your mind (albeit not as much as an acid trip would). And if you have heard it before, the trailer should have you more stoked for the Sept. 5 theatrical release.

A hit at Sundance and SXSW, the documentary covers not only the infamous drug-fueled game, but also Ellis' radicalism (for the times) that extended past drug use. The pitcher even called himself the Muhammad Ali of baseball, as he, too, was outspoken against racism.

Come for the drug story; stay for character study.
