Nintendo recently experienced a bit of press-relations backlash when it announced Tomodachi Life would expand beyond Japan to be released in the rest of the world. In a game where players can do nearly anything including getting married they cannot form same-sex relationships or get married. Nintendo's response proved that the company doesn't understand the weight of the situation but it promised to be more inclusive in the future.
On the latest episode of “Last Week Tonight” comedian John Oliver takes the liberty of making the Nintendo universe more inclusive himself by outing Mario, Princess Peach and the lovely brunching couple of Bowser and Donkey Kong.
