Episode: “Trou Normand”
Air date: May 23, 2013

This might not be one of Hannibal's most realistic crime scenes, but it’s the most memorable.

This particular killer apparently wasn’t content with leaving only one body for investigators to ponder over—he wanted to put his life’s work on display. His method:  wrangling his corpses up to make a human totem pole. Like the other murder scenes on this list, the human totem pole wasn’t about abject gore or horror; it was about a striking image of gothic wonderment that will stick with you well after the closing credits.
