Comedian Laurie Kilmartin is sharing her last moments with her father on the Twittersphere.

Her father was diagnosed with lung cancer, and is currently admitted to hospice. She's currently tweeting out pictures and updates of his condition, and she even reached out to Glenn Beck to get him to reply to her father's Facebook page.

Funny, isn't it, that sharing private moments with the Internet could help us cope with such a significant event as this? Her dad seems to be diggin' it, too. Having a comedian for a daughter is never a bad thing.

How I check that I've put Dad's hearing aids in correctly. Whisper "testing, testing, Obama is a Muslim," then look for the thumbs up.
just promised Dad I'd be nice to Mom. Damnit.
Hard to leave Dad's side. I am drawn to him like a moth to a flame (that's about to go out)
I said, "Grandpa's dying," and my 7 yo son looked up at me with his big brown chocolate drop eyes and said, "what about his iPad?"
Dad has lung cancer. I offered to be Jesse to his Walt, but he didn't take me up on it.
Every day, I set a new goal of not seeing Dad's genitals when I help him off the toilet.
@glennbeck My dad loves you, and is in hospice. Any chance you can leave a note on his FB wall? https://t.co/CWyeLTXjLJ love, his daughter
