Everyone wants to avoid hangovers, so DNews set out to find which alcohol gives you the worst hangover.
Alcohol contains congeners, which gives provide its taste and color. Unfortunately, they're toxins. Therefore, the drinks with the more congeners give you the worst hangovers. In other words, the darker the alcohol, the worse your hangover will be. Other studies have yielded similar findings.
Don't let this stop you from enjoying brandy, bourbon or whiskey, as vodka and gin hangovers are no picnic, either.
