Much to the disappointment of fans, there was no new episode of American Horror Story: Coven on FX last night (raise your hand if you forgot and totally turned the TV on at 10 p.m., only to feel crushing pain when realization hit). In fact, there won't any new episodes until January 8th, when the show returns from its mid-season hiatus—so we've got a pretty long wait ahead of us.
There isn't much to make up for this great tragedy, but series star Gabourey Sidibe, who portrays the ever-epic character Queenie, certainly tried: On her Twitter last night, Sidibe posted pretty much the best AHS: Coven tweet in the history of AHS: Coven tweets as small consolation for the lack of a new episode.
