Julie Uhrman, CEO of Ouya, has issued an apology for the android-powered console’s delays in the form of a $13.37 store credit to any backers of the original Kickstarter push.

The Ouya launched back in March but some backers who pre-ordered didn't receive their consoles "until after it was on store shelves," Uhrman said. Other users "had an issue with our still-new customer service," she said, while still others found their consoles arrived without, or missing controllers.

As a blanket apology for these issues, backers will receive an e-mail offering $13.37 in credit for the system's online store. Seems like a small return for those who originally donated to the system as Ouya's online store sales are fairly flat.
