One Million Dollars Worth of Green Left on Beach in California

Something went wrong in a major way.

None

L.A. Now says that roughly $1 million worth of marijuana was found near a boat that had crashed by Vandenberg Air Force Base on Thursday. Homeland Security swooped in to seize the drugs, which were stashed in trash bags and hidden in brush in a feeble attempt to hide them.

With Homeland Security taking over the investigation, no information about potential suspects or any connection to the boat has been released. The Santa Maria Times adds that the 20-foot aluminum boat's engine was missing. Authorities were unsure if it came off during the crash or was intentionally removed.

Either way, someone's in big trouble.
