Appears In: The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean (1972)
Portrayed By: Paul Newman

In our opinion, Newman merits inclusion here for managing to look like a badass in a rocking chair. The film starts with rowdies in a town roughing up old Roy Bean, which is immediately followed by Bean returning to the town and wasting everyone who did him wrong.

This numbers among the most effective ways to establish law and order, even in the most lawless of town. While there are some moments of true badass behavior in this film, there are also some strange moments, like Paul Newman pushing a bear on a tree swing. It's good for Roy Bean that we aren't here to evaluate the behavior of these marksmen when they aren't gunslinging.
