With writer Daniel Way leaving Deadpool right before Marvel Now launches this fall, The House of Ideas wasted no time in getting a suitable replacement for him. Courtesy of IGN, the company revealed that comedian Brian Posehn will be the new co-writer on Deadpool along with fellow comedian Gerry Duggan and artist Tony Moore.
With a movie and video game in the works, it seems like the Merc with a Mouth is about to explode into the mainstream. Frankly, there is no one better to bring the sarcastic and sociopathic Deadpool to the page than Posehn, who will easily be able to grasp the character's trademark twisted humor.
