Things got nippy between Madonna, Elton John and John's husband David Furnish, after Madge beat out Elton for best original song at the Golden Globe Awards last night.
"Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!!" Furnish wrote on Facebook. "Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism."
John and Madonna sniped at one another from afar on the red carpet before the event.
"Doesn't have a f***ing chance of winning tonight," is how Elton described the songstress' chances of her song "Masterpiece," from her film "W.E.," beating his "Hello Hello," from "Gnomeo and Juliet."
"Was he wearing a dress?" Madonna shot back, when told of John's comments. "May the best man win."
Then she went out and won.
