Verizon Wireless Extends Trade-In Program To Include Tablets

Any Verizon Wireless customers looking to flip their iPads for some quick cash may want to holler at their carrier before heading to eBay. The company today announced that it will be extending the Verizon Wireless Trade-In Program to include tablets. Verizon will issue gift cards worth up to $300 depending on the condition of the tablet. The folks over atBGR tested the service with a 16GB Apple iPad with wi-fi and 3G that's in good working condition without any cracks, and got it appraised for $185. Maybe eBay isn't such a bad idea...
