CBS, the ever popular home of crime procedurals and grown-up reality shows with an audience that skews geriatric, is looking to harness the social web by declaring next week #CBSTweetWeek.
Stars from the networks most popular shows and some live broadcasts (commentators from the NCAA championship game will be participating) will take to Twitter during the programming to talk about the show and engage with fans. Celebrities from The Big Bang Theory, Survivor, NCIS, The Amazing Race, Hawaii 5-0 and more will be involved in the choreographed Twitter takeover.
Of course-- and this may be news to the executives at CBS-- celebrities tweeting about shows they're on isn't exactly a novel idea. But we're willing to let them make it if there's a chance Kaley Cuoco will follow us.
