Bethesda's Throwing Everything They've Got At Us Before The Apocalypse

With four titles coming out in 2011, we're going to have our hands full playing through it all before the Mayan calendar summons the tsunamis and supervolcanos and whatnot.

Bethesda's 2010 was no slouch thanks to Fallout; New Vegas, but with four titles expected in 2011, they're set to have an amazing year. The incredible thing is that all of these games could be smash hits. Let’s take a look at when they’ll drop:

Brink (May 17):  It’s a shooter that integrates a SMART button that allows you to vault over or slide under obstacles as you race around the map. Players can advance their character in solo play and then use that same character for online battles, and vice versa.

Hunted: The Demon's Forge (June 3): A cooperative action game set in a gritty fantasy world. Players can choose the master swordsman, Caddoc, or the ranged specialist E’lara as you battle waves of dark denizens. Do you know what Charisma Points are but don't actually have any? This game's for you.

RAGE (September 13): We broke this down a bit last week, but O.G. John Carmack (Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein) and iD Software have crafted a shooter set after an asteroid hits the Earth and all hell has broken loose. Visuals that we've seen so far have been unreal (no Unreal Engine), so if you haven’t seen a trailer for it yet, get your ass to YouTube.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (November 11): One of the major announcements from December's Video Game Awards, it's shaping up to be bigger, better, and have a way better combat system than the previous Elder Scrolls title, Oblivion. [via Joystick Division]
