Atlanta rapper Rome Fortune’s productivity has been at an all-time high lately, and today, he keeps his hot streak going with “Trap Lady,” an excellent collaborative track with Baton Rouge producer suicideyear.

The Southern influence is strong in the sultry banger. Short and sweet, the record is fueled by a rumbling, synth-laced instrumental (which features additional production from outthepound) and Rome’s typically mesmerizing raps, which he uses here to describe exactly what the title hints at: his “Trap Lady.” He details his experiences with her, all summed up in the makeshift hook: “Sippin’ on the lean now, always got the gasoline now, we’re high and talkin’ about everything now, unfortunate I have to leave now, but you’re a trap lady, you’ll be okay.”

It’s a deceptively deep track and one that places the spotlight on Rome’s versatility and suicideyear’s next level production. Word on the street is these two have more in the vault. Stream “Trap Lady” below, and stay tuned for more.
