Even Questlove knows it: Australia is killing it right now. The country is overflowing with great music, and Banoffee is one of the most exciting newcomers. She’s also proving to be one of the most consistent. It was just earlier this month that we heard the Oscar Key Sung-produced “Got It,” and today she releases the video.
Banoffee (Martha Brown) says of her new video: “The idea behind the video was to create something that embodied both narratives of the song. The footage in the glasses is a listing of people who’ve “got it” in some way, albeit weird or rare, and the reflection in the lenses is a progression of peoples’ truths and honest triumphs whilst everything outside of that is a disguise.”
