Hoodie Allen has a pretty typical story for a rapper – he took a break from his job at Google (shoutout to Google, shoutout to GChat) to become a full-time emcee. This video for “You Are Not A Robot”, off Hoodie’s Pep Rally mixtape, was done with the help of Hoodie fans, who showed up at 7AM in Maryland for the shoot.
Oh, and the good people over at Sunset in the Rearview are putting together a concert featuring Hoodie. It’s going to be in Durham (shoutout to Durham) on February 24th. More info about that here.
