Here’s the latest video from Cold Specks, from the upcoming album I Predict A Graceful Expulsion, coming out May 22nd. Cold Specks style of “doom-soul” sounds like the kind of sound that you could pull off for maybe a song or two, but Al Spx does it so well that it really describes more about the feeling you get from listening. “Doom” isn’t necessarily something that appeals to most people, but balance it out with some soul and suddenly, you realize that Cold Specks is really onto something beautiful.
