Mash-ups always start with a good name. Or maybe they end with a good name. Who knows, but most musical mashes have a good name that somehow links the two acts together like an awkward sexual position. Bon Iver. Bon Jovi. It seems foolish that it took this long for these two to finally come together. The result? Amazing.
It’s not really a mash-up, more like a Bon Jovi song imagined as a Bon Iver song, by five bold and daring men who chose to ask, “Why not?”
