What the hell happened to The Rapture? Their last album came out in 2006. I don’t even remember 2006. Time for a throwback post.
The Rapture is a New York City band that mixes post punk sharpness with electro danceability. It’s catchy, raucous, and excellent. Hopefully they’ll make some power moves soon. Speaking of power moves, I’m about to crush this panini. “Heaven” is from The Rapture’s 2003 album Echoes (buy it here). “Whoo!..” is from their 2006 album Pieces of the People We Love (buy it here).
