SOAK is 18-year-old Bridie Monds-Watson, and she’ll be releasing her debut album this year on Rough Trade Records. We’ve heard a handful of songs on her Blud EP, and today she shares a reworked version of “Sea Creatures.” The new version features more full-bodied production complete with steady drums, backing strings, and layered vocals. There’s still nothing over-the-top about the music she’s making, but that gives her strong songwriting the room to shine.
