Regina Spektor - "Small Town Moon"

1.

Since the last Regina Spektor post, Fiona Apple did this, and that should be completely unrelated to how we feel about Regina, but it isn’t. While “Small Town Moon” is melodically sound, catchy enough to stick, and arranged in an interesting way, it’s just so… cute. It’s cute, and it’s playful, and after bearing the weight of Fiona Apple’s “Every Single Night,” this feels about as heavy as a stick of bubble gum. It’s still pretty sweet though.

Regina’s What We Saw From The Cheap Seats is out May 29th.
