John Keek’s “Come Give It Up” was unlike anything else out. Keek came out of nowhere—a saxophonist from Las Vegas with a penchant for unusual melodies and skillful, jazz-leaning instrumentation. That song felt like such a singular piece, but Keek is back with “By Your Side.” This one features Georgia Anne Muldrow on vocals and Reinier Baas on the guitar, and as a follow-up to “Come Give It Up,” the song does a great job of solidifying this young artist’s very unique lane.
