Bush dominated alternative rock in the mid 90’s, a time when rock music was still trying to figure out what the hell to do now that Kurt Cobain was gone. But the band could never match the appeal of their debut album Sixteen Stone, and with each attempt they seemed to get less of a response. After Bush’s breakup, frontman Gavin Rossdale, husband of Gwen Stefani, has taken on many side projects including solo work, acting work, new bands, and attending tennis matches with Roger Federer.
It’s been 10 years since their last release, but Bush is ready to reunite for a new album. Their album will be called Sea Of Memories and is scheduled for a September release. Listen to the first single, “The Sound Of Winter” here.
