When I saw this title, all I could think of was that Weezy line, “I hate to see her go, but I love to watch her leave.” Unlike that line, this song is a mature slice of Americana, and not so much about looking at asses.
Too much country influence in a song can be a turn off for people like myself, but Blitzen Trapper incorporates just enough of the genre to make it easy to stomach even for those of us who steer clear of the twang. “Love The Way You Walk Away” is a rootsy, robust folk track from the band’s upcoming album American Goldwing.
