The Clams Casino-produced “Wassup” from Harlem’s ASAP Rocky was already the jam (it even made it onto this mix). Slim K just next-leveled it. Unfortunately, the art of chopping and screwing has been, like most things, abused by the internet. You’ll hear a lot of Ludacris and Three 6 Mafia a cappellas slowed down and slopped on top of production that begs the question of whether the skips are intentional or if maybe you just downloaded a damaged file.
This one is done right. Everything about it makes sense. Perfect for a late night listen.
