Scottish rockers The Jesus and Mary Chain recently announced a tour to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their 1985 debut Psychocandy. Though they’ve toured off and on since their 2007 reunion, no new music has emerged from their reconciliation (as was initially planned). That leaves the seminal shoegazers with their last release as 1998’s Munki, now almost 20 years old (!). In a recent interview with NME, however, lead singer Jim Reid said “There will be an album – we will get it together. I’m more convinced now than I ever have been that there will be a new Mary Chain album.”

Since they’re actually doing an extended tour together already, it seems fairly likely that this album will really happen—get ready by refreshing your memory of some of the classics, like “Just Like Honey”:
