Modest Mouse has released the fourth single from their upcoming album Strangers to Ourselves, the first LP to be released since 2009’s No One’s First and You’re Next. “The Ground Walks, with Time in a Box” is a classic Modest Mouse tune, all intertwined guitars and slightly jagged harmonies. It almost sounds like Isaac Brock’s been listening to the same Afrobeat records as Vampire Weekend, while staying true to the band’s grungy core.
